Privacy policy
How we handle personal data submitted through this website. Last updated 10 August 2026.
Who we are
Supplyer Ltd is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 12994821, with our registered office at Brook House, Moss Grove, Kingswinford, DY6 9HS.
If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your data, contact us athello@supplyer.co.uk or on07980 959289.
What we collect
The only personal data we collect through this website is what you choose to enter into our trade enquiry form. That is:
- your name, and your job title if you give it;
- your company or brand name, and your website address if you give it;
- your email address and, if you provide one, your telephone number;
- the product categories you select and whatever you write in the message field.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking services on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors. If you email or telephone us directly, we will also hold the contents of that correspondence.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party embedded content, and the fonts used on the site are served from our own domain rather than from a third party. That is why you have not been asked to accept cookies. If this changes in future we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to correspond with you about a possible trading relationship, and to keep a record of that correspondence.
Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is legitimate interests — specifically, our interest and yours in responding to a business enquiry you have chosen to send us. Where you tick the consent box on our form, we also rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by emailing us.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to send marketing unrelated to the enquiry you made.
Who we share it with
This website is hosted by Netlify, and our enquiry form is processed using Netlify Forms. Netlify acts as a data processor on our behalf and stores submissions on its infrastructure, which may involve a transfer of your data outside the United Kingdom, including to the United States. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards Netlify puts in place, including standard contractual clauses.
We also use business email to correspond with you. Beyond these, we do not share enquiry data with third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a trading relationship, we keep it for up to two years so that we have a record of the contact, and then delete it. If we do begin trading, the correspondence becomes part of our business records and is kept for as long as we trade together, plus the period we are required to retain business records for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to our using it;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another controller in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we are relying on consent.
To exercise any of these, email hello@supplyer.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, atico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
